if we all stopped farming sheep, cows and chickens, would they just go a bit extinct? like... we obviously wouldnt encourage breeding so much, we wouldnt keep them cooped up on land or have a sense of ownership of them. i mean when have you ever seen a wild cow in the UK? does it even happen? have farm animals become so domesticated that they dont even really have a wild existance? we see deers and things i know that but i cant think of any time ive been aware of wild horses or cows or maybe even chickens. im pretty sure ive been aware of wild sheep and goats but i could be wrong.
i guess what im saying is, that despite our consistant farming and culling for food and other animal products, is their existance both tethered to their services to human beings and entirely reliant upon it?

can anyone give me any statistics on wage distribution in the world i.e. (perhaps just for the more economically developed countries) an illustration of inequality between the fewer number of people with massively high salaries relative to those with average salaries, maybe say in the 25-30K per annum range. im interested to see how much further the excessive wealth of the drastically higher earners could stretch if everyone was on a similar wage.
more dramatically i would also be interested to see how much every individual in the world would earn** if every person was equal. obviously we are completely ignoring the fact that the earning capacity of a vast proportion of the world is currently nonexistant, but im just interested to see how far the current global earnings could be spread amongst the global population.
the main reasoning for all this is kinda... questioning just how hard it would be to remove poverty from the world and how hard it would make life for us at the most dramatic level. of course i realise that if we all shared out our money and had less, we would spend less per head and businesses would not make the same profits and people wouldnt get the wages they get now thus reducing the spread further, but i just want to see how much we would theoretically all have.
i was considering the idea that instinctually we are reactionary beings where we react to out needs i.e. hunger, and if we cannot get food ourselves we will often take it by force at the expense of someone else foe our own survival. then considering that as societies have developed we have become more preparitory with farming and forward thinking but that it is not something every society is privaleged enough to have due to poor environmental conditions or raging conflicts causing a dichotamy (spelling? and possibly correct use of the word?) where we have big differences between people living reactionary hand to mouth lifestyles and preparitory societies. furthering that the preparitory societies fear the reactionary societies taking what is theres away thus alienating them and often making their lives worse which then furthers the divide and gives them more reason to be afraid.
hmmm not very coherant i am sure. i just like the fantasy that we could live in a society where we could not only be equal financially but also deal with being equal. it'll never happen i know...
EDIT ** when i say earn, i dont really mean earn... i mean if we just divided it out since i know that not everyone is in a position to earn, at least by economically developed country standards

gonna delete a few people i just havent talked in any worthwhile or tangible way over the last 6 months. friends are friends and they should know by now theyre friends in real life and they know theyll still be on my f-list. otherwise im sure people will be as unbothered as me. if yr bothered by it make the effort and say so, but not on here
